The Flow of Life and its Organisation
An elucidation of    the various circulations according to the classical texts of Chinese medicine.

The human body is made with the same inner structures as every thing or being in the Universe, between Heaven and Earth. The organization of the different circulations reflects this analogy.
We will examine each of the various kinds of circulations : meridian or jing, connective circulations or luo, divergent circulations or jingbie, muscular circulations or jingjin. All of them are mai, which is the most general name for any kind of circulation. The generic name for the whole network of circulations and animation is : JING LUO MAI.
For each group,    we start with a general description, then examine the relationships with other parts of the mai, and with the organs and functions, the blood and qi (xue qi 血氣) and the various expressions of qi. Some examples will be taken.

A meridian or channel (jing 經)    is an heavenly (natural) norm, rule; it builds the structures of each living being. Sustaining the heavenly impulse, meridians allow the expression of the unity in the complex and varied forms of the Earth.
A meridian forms, organizes, gives structures, regulates. It is a force that by circulation in the right place, maintains the developpment of vitality
The 8 extraordinary meridians establish and express the basic structures of life.
The 12 ordinary meridians deal with the repartition of human being in 12 charges. . Each of them is characterized by a yin or yang quality of qi, responsable for the dynamic and features of their normal functioning or pathology, as found in the six levels of the Shanghanlun.
The 15 great luo create communications, connections between two meridians, but there are an infinity of luo and these luo fill the whole space of the body. These including the great luo (da luo 大絡), luo (絡) grandchild luo (xun luo 孫絡) and floating luo (fu luo 浮絡).
The divergent circulations (jing bie 經別) reinforce communications and connections, in order to close the vital space, to ensure cohesion of being, by circulations and exchanges.
The tendino-muscular circulations (jing jin 經筋) express how muscular forces and mouvements, with the qi and blood, fluids and substances needed, are mastered and controlled by the meridians.

Abschluss in Klassischer Literatur, Philosophie, Chinesisch.

Zusammenarbeit mit Pater Claude Larre († 2001) und Dr. Jean Schatz († 1984) über chinesisches Denken und chinesische Medizin. Mitbegründerin des Pariser Ricci-Instituts (1971) und der Europäischen Schule für Akupunktur (1975).

Mitbegründerin der Ricci Association for the Chinese – French Grand Dictionary (1987)
Ehemalige Generalsekretärin des Ricci-Instituts in Paris und ehemalige Chefredakteurin des Grand Ricci (großes enzyklopädisches, umfassendes chinesisch-französisches Wörterbuch in 7 Bänden, erschienen Ende 2001).

Vorlesung über alte chinesische Philosophie und über klassische medizinische Texte in Frankreich und in mehreren europäischen und amerikanischen Ländern.

Autorin zahlreicher Bücher, Broschüren, Artikel (Übersetzungen ins Englische, Italienische, Deutsche, Spanische, Portugiesische, Hebräische, Polnische und Schwedische).

Teilnahme an Kongressen, Symposien und internationalen Konferenzen.
